Willamette Valley Riesling Rising
at Ponzi Wine Bar
August 29, 2009  2 to 5pm
Discover one of the valley’s oldest varietals. As a grape that thrives in cool-climates, Riesling was a sensible selection by early industry pioneers to grow in the uncharted soils and climate of the Willamette Valley. The roots of Oregon Riesling vines are now some of the most deeply rooted and so is the history that paved the way for the production of outstanding Rieslings today.

Join some of the region’s finest Riesling producers for a tasting of their wines. Tasting fee is $5, complimentary with a paid Ponzi Wine Bar flight.

Guest wineries include:
Anam Cara Cellars
Brooks Winery
Chehalem
Holloran Vineyard Wines
Love and Squalor
Ponzi Vineyards
Trisaetum
