LONG BEFORE THE WORDS “PINOT NOIR” were ever uttered in the Willamette Valley, our ancestors arrived in covered wagons seeking a better life. Like many Oregon Trail pioneers who braved the journey in the early 1800s, our great-great grandparents (the Olsen and Jenks families) took to farming. They established homesteads in the Willamette Valley, growing everything from blueberries to grass seed. And with that, our family’s indelible connection to the land was founded.

Our vast knowledge of the land and microclimates was passed down through generations, keeping our family’s farming legacy alive and thriving. It was only a matter of time before we would turn our efforts and wisdom to planting, tending and harvesting wine grapes in order to bring you exceptional wines.
