Willamette Valley Wine Foundation Executive Director, Julie DalrymplePORTLAND, Ore. (September 29, 2025)—

The Willamette Valley Wine Foundation (WVWF) has appointed Julie Dalrymple as its new Executive Director. A development and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience driving organizational growth across the wine, arts, and cultural sectors, Dalrymple brings a proven record of leadership and collaboration to the role.

Since 2021, Dalrymple has served as Director of Membership and Partnerships for the Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA), where she led member relations for more than 400 wineries, vineyards, and industry partners. In that role, she established sustainable partnerships, strengthened engagement across the region, and secured significant fundraising support for WVWA programs.

Her career includes serving as Director of Marketing and Communications for Portland’s Classic Wines Foundation, where she developed and executed fundraising strategies that raised millions of dollars annually for local nonprofit organizations. She also served as President of Women in Wine - Oregon and she was an active member of WVWA’s Diversity, Equity, Belonging, and Inclusion committee. Over the past decade, she has provided leadership support for numerous Portland-based nonprofits, bringing a wide-ranging skill set to this new role.

“Julie’s leadership, deep experience, and ability to forge meaningful partnerships make her the right person to guide the Foundation into its next phase,” said Gerardo Partida, Board Chair of the Willamette Valley Wine Foundation. “Under her direction, WVWF will continue to expand its impact for the families who form the backbone of our wine-growing community.”

Dalrymple earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from St. Mary’s College of California and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History from the University of California, Davis. She holds advanced wine industry credentials, including Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and the Level 3 Award in Wine from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

“I am honored to step into this role at such a pivotal moment of growth for the Foundation,” said Dalrymple. “The Willamette Valley wine community thrives on collaboration and shared purpose. The past four years with WVWA showed me how providing the right resources can elevate businesses and impact an industry. Now I look forward to channeling that same energy toward our larger community.”

As Executive Director, Dalrymple will lead WVWF in expanding philanthropic programs, strengthening partnerships, and advancing initiatives that ensure the long-term vitality of the Willamette Valley wine community.
