SUMMER SEASON IN THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY
JUNE 1 - AUGUST 31
The height of wine tasting season in the Willamette Valley gets a dedicated hashtag and marketing focus. This is the time of year for a full event calendar, creative tasting experiences, personal vineyard tours, and wine dinners galore.
There is no cost for members to participate in the marketing promotion. Simply submit your events and special offers, and they will automatically be included in our promotions via the website, email marketing, and social media.
The more content you post on our website, the more visitors you will have to your WVWA listing and your website. Call-to-action links are included in each outgoing email campaign and lead to curated listing pages that speak to specific email content. Updated profiles are statistically more likely to get "clicks" and "likes". Maintaining your business profile means increased traffic for your website and business. You can track your traffic on WV Portal under My Benefits.
Please contact Membership & Partnerships Manager, Brittany Wooten, with any questions.

Tag @wvwines in posts on your social channels so that we can re-share and add them to our social streams. The hashtag #wvwines is always ongoing, so use that, too.
We are especially seeking high-quality photos that depict Oregon wine country scenes quintessentially: wine dinners, mountain views, vineyards lined by evergreen trees, and happy guests enjoying the height of event season. Upload your images below so we can use them in WVWA social feeds. Your winery will be tagged/credited if you provide that information with your upload. Please indicate the photographer as well so we can include proper image credit.
Remember that authenticity is the key to great social media. Be yourself and speak for yourself.

This is important! Post all your events in advance to the wine country event calendar and make them compelling. Add thorough descriptions, festive photos and direct links to purchase tickets or register for your event. Make it easy for consumers to participate in your event! During the height of the season, guests are enthusiastic about visiting the valley and are always looking for what's new. It is important to make your events stand out.
