PINOT IN THE CITY
Pinot in the City is a core Willamette Valley Wineries Association engagement program designed to introduce new audiences to Willamette Valley wines in key domestic markets. This traveling tasting series places member wineries directly in front of engaged trade, media, and high-value consumers in influential food and wine cities across the country.
Each event features a curated group of WVWA member wineries pouring alongside culinary partners, creating an accessible, city-based platform for storytelling, education, and relationship building. Pinot in the City prioritizes direct winery-to-consumer interaction, allowing participating wineries to share their wines, vineyard practices, and regional perspective with attendees who are often new to the Willamette Valley category.
For members, Pinot in the City serves as both a market development and brand-building opportunity—supporting winery visibility, strengthening regional awareness, and reinforcing the Willamette Valley’s collective reputation for world-class wines. The program also complements broader WVWA marketing and PR efforts by generating trade and media exposure in targeted markets.
