Here in Oregon, sustainability is in our blood. Many of our vineyards and wineries are certified sustainable, organic or biodynamic, and we even developed our own now-widespread certification (LIVE) to address both environmental and social responsibility. And many, many more Willamette Valley wineries employ organic, biodynamic and sustainable practices in the vineyard and cellar but choose not to pursue certification for a variety of reasons. You’ll find that no matter where you go in the Willamette Valley, caring for the planet is a way of life.
