Oaks Amusement Park

With rides, mini golf, riverside picnicking spots, paddleboard and kayak launch points and a beloved roller rink (offering outdoor skating during the pandemic), Oaks Amusement Park is one of the oldest amusement parks in the country. Originally opened to accompany the 1905 Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition, Oaks Park offers a charming slice of history on the Willamette River. It’s accessible by bike path from the City of Portland, and Portland’s roller derby team, the Rose City Rollers, has bouts in season and events year-round at the Hangar next door. Learn more.
